Hot Chip is a group i started listening to a few years ago when my canadian friend turned me onto them. i’m glad she did. i’ve been listening to them off and on since then and now that they’ve released their 3rd studio album, it’s back on! here’s the video of their first single “Ready for the Floor”. i think it’s really goofy and fun. enjoy!

I couldn’t get this song out of my head last night. I totally love the video… but why is he saying “You’re my number one guy”? I need to listen again I guess.
Is he dressed half like Pee Wee Herman and half like the Joker?
I like to pretend all of Canada will be like this video when I go on vacation there in April.
i think he’s half himself and he just happens to look like peewee lol. this was my first time actually seeing what they look like actually so i was confused as well.

“Lol well they said its cos the song has loads of references to Batman. Also the line “Youre my number one guy” has something to do with the Joker.”
