Mario Kart Wii came out on Sunday in case you didn’t already know. It actually kind of snuck up on everyone I think. There wasn’t a ton of news about it until it almost launched, but now it’s finally in our hands!

This isn’t a review, but a few notes so far. The motorcycles are awesome. Offline multiplayer sucks because you’re stuck on a team w/ cpu karts. LAME. The Wii Wheel doesn’t stink as much as I thought, and it’s actually pretty fun unless you try to do a wheelie during an online race and the wheel makes your motorcycle go into the lava and lose the race because that totally happened to me. Speaking of Wifi, it totally worked! Holy crap a Nintendo game online! It’s like I died and went to 2004, when all games started to have this feature. Also, you can totally play two player online from one system. Bonus.
