What did you… (Week 16)

So much stress and business this week. I hope yours was better, but now on with the recap of a “what did you enjoy” during this specific week of the year.

What did you listen to this week?

• DJ Sammy – “Heaven”
• Does It Offend You, Yeah? – “You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into”
• Angels & Airwaves – “I-Empire”
• The Fountain Official Soundtrack

DJ Sammy’s Heaven album was played many-a-times in the car to work. Very dancy. Angels & Airwaves we’ve already discussed, but I like it more and more each time I listen. The Fountain OST is amazing even though the film was a bit weird. Does It Offend You, Yeah? is a newer band that I never heard of until this week, and the only reason I started listening was because of the cover. Anyways, I love it, and although I haven’t purchased it yet, I’ve listened to it 3 times on free.napster.com and I suggest you do the same. Also, if you check them out on wikipedia you’ll see that they are often compared to Daft Punk and Justice, two bands that I love. Perhaps you will too?

• Cowboy Bebop (DVD)
• Witchblade: Animated Series (Xbox Download)
• South Park (TV)
• The Office (TV)

We got House on Haunted Hill and Cowboy Bebop from the library this week. HOHH was interesting, but I’ll be honest and tell you I don’t really like older movies. Anyways, we’ll be comparing it to the newer one which I have already seen, and the wife has not (it was vice-versa on the original). I watched one episode of Cowboy Bebop and it was enjoyable, but I think I just love the music so whatever is on the screen just makes it that much better. Also, I checked out the first episode of Witchblade and it was pretty awesome. I just can’t afford to download each episode. I wish anime wasn’t as expensive as it is or I think that’s pretty much all I’d watch. South Park was hilarious as always (Ectoplasm!). The Office is still entertaining and one of the few shows I definitely make sure not to miss.

How much was a gallon of gas this week?

I had to get gas twice this week. The second time was wretched. Seriously why, other than greed, is this happening? Lame.
