I do. It seems so long ago. So many things have happened since the last official FFD. Oh how I miss them so. I was sifting through some old albums and remembered this idea I had for a post; “Albums That I Can Listen to in Their Entirety”. In the spirit of Friday, I give you my list.

Daft Punk – Discovery

Oddly enough this was the album with which I DISCOVERED them…(pause for laughter)…Thank you, thank you. But seriously, they’ve single-handedly shaped my music taste into what it is today. Love it. Bought it. Watched this video and loved it even more. If you’ve got an hour…

Tool – Aenima

The first of their albums that I bought and still my favorite. Listened to this so much in high school. Used to blast it in “my” ’85 Camaro. /sigh

The Postal Service – Give Up

This one surprised me. I had the album for quite a while and one day just queued it up and once it looped back to the first track I was like, “I’m gonna go ahead and listen to it all again.” This was the only album not available to listen to on last.fm.
Favorite track: Nothing Better

Pokemon Master

In celebration of playing HeartGold and SoulSilver and the newly updated Japanese Black and White website, I give you, the Pokemon Master.

I’m in the process of getting a new flash cart for my DS so when I do I’ll share my friend code deal for online trading.

Also check out the resources I’ve been using for a while now:

The Online Pokedex – I use this just about every time I play here at home. Want a certain pokemon? Wanna know what it evolves into and how? Wanna know exactly where to catch it and the chances you can find it? It’s all there.

Serebii.net – Another pokedex I use. Has more information on egg groups for us pokemon breeders. Design is a little so-so imo.

Pokewalker Index – This is also on Serebii.net but deserved it’s own link. Check out the Yellow Forest. You can get a FLYING Pikachu!

The Bulbapedia – It’s wikipedia, for pokemon! Don’t know where Route 43 is? Bulbapedia does. When I was playing Pearl, this was my homepage.

Folding@home

Do you have a PS3, PC, or even a Mac? If yes, wouldn’t you like that machine to help cure cancer? My answer is an emphatic YES! I used to use this little bit of software when I was at college but I have long since forgotten about it. If you haven’t heard about it, it’s basically technology started by Stanford University to turn as many computers as possible that are connected to the internet into one huge supercomputer. The software recreates the process of protein folding and misfolding in our bodies to find out where things go wrong. All types of PCs and Macs can process different kinds of information very well, especially gaming rigs with high-end graphics cards and/or those with dual and quad-core processors. The PS3′s cell processor is also a great tool for use with this project and has the easiest setup of all systems. I’ll be running it on my PC for sure.

This was one of my favorite videos in grade school but it was never on the internets until this past year for some reason. The song and video are 12 years old now. Anyway, Mega Man awesomeness and I love the beat and I’ve always liked Missy’s dancing. Also, Timbaland Dr. Wily = AWESOME!!! I hate Da Brat’s part though. Her costume is win, but her rapping is fail.

FFD: Double Post Edition

I know it’s late but I just came across a new video from my friend up north and decided not to wait to post. The band is from Vancouver and the video was filmed quite near to where she lives. At first I thought I didn’t like the video, but then I realized what was going on with the characters and was laughing. See how many you can name (without reading the comments first, cheaters).
