In celebration of playing HeartGold and SoulSilver and the newly updated Japanese Black and White website, I give you, the Pokemon Master.

The Online Pokedex – I use this just about every time I play here at home. Want a certain pokemon? Wanna know what it evolves into and how? Wanna know exactly where to catch it and the chances you can find it? It’s all there.

Serebii.net – Another pokedex I use. Has more information on egg groups for us pokemon breeders. Design is a little so-so imo.

Pokewalker Index – This is also on Serebii.net but deserved it’s own link. Check out the Yellow Forest. You can get a FLYING Pikachu!

The Bulbapedia – It’s wikipedia, for pokemon! Don’t know where Route 43 is? Bulbapedia does. When I was playing Pearl, this was my homepage.

Some of you have always wondered how big of a nerd I am. Today, I give you proof. Yesterday, I found myself playing Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalker on XBLA and kicking so much butt I had to videotape and upload to YouTube. I did this really to just show mjblink and my brother-in-law but why not share the awesomeness that is the Howl of the Night Pack card which I tossed down right before filming.

The card puts a 2/2 green Wolf creature token into play for each Forest you control which I played with 7 Forests… Then I threw down Overrun (+3/+3 + Trample to all creatures) and destroyed the crap out of the CPU. They started with 28 HP (the normal HP at the start is 20) and I dealt them 35 damage. Anyways, I’m still pretty new at M:TG but why not show off my newb skillz.

Jackass + Videogames = Pacman in Real Life.

I’m pretty sure when I saw this my nerd heart exploded. A 16-Bit re-imagined sequel to ZELDA II. So awesome. It’s only one level, but still. Feel free to give it a try and download it. It is made by Konjak (creator of Noitu Love which I just bought #2 and it’s awesome).

You probably have already seen the video above. What you may or may not know is that it’s some greatly done viral marketing. It pretty much worked out the way they wanted. What you might not have seen is someone else calling them out and showing them how it’s done on expert.

I wanted to take a minute to proclaim my love for 2D Boy’s game World of Goo.

First off, it’s a 2D physics based puzzle game that’s out now on PC and WiiWare. I haven’t played the PC version ($20), but I do own the WiiWare version ($15). The WiiWare version has 4 player multiplayer, and mjblink and I have been making our way through the worlds. It’s quite enjoyable, and we’ve often found ourselves going for the OCD on the level (you get a little flag on the map if you complete the ridiculous/almost impossible task).

I’m completely in love with the graphic style and the music of this game, and it blows my mind that it was created by two people. My hats off to them and their awesome skills. Anyways, you can learn more the game by visiting 2D Boy’s website and download the demo to see for yourself.

About time! This looks amazing!!! The multiplayer options are insane! Here’s hoping I only have to buy one copy.
